Title: Squeezed Coherent State Representation of Scalar Field and Particle Production in the Early Universe

Abstract: The quantum field theory of a scalar field in curved space-time is studied using the squeezed coherent state representation. In this representation the expectation values of the stress-energy tensor of the scalar field is calculated. The present calculation can account for the production of particles in the early universe.
