| Abstract: | അധിനിവേശ വർഗത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട അമേരിക്കൻ കക്ക "മൈറ്റല്ല സ്ട്രിഗേറ്റ" യെ കൊച്ചി കായലിൽ കണ്ടെത്തി. ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ആദ്യമായാണ് ഇത്തരം കാക്കയെ കണ്ടെത്തിയത് . കുസാറ്റ് സ്കൂൾ ഓഫ് മറൈൻ സയൻസിലെ മറൈൻ ബയോളജി, മൈക്രോ ബയോളജി, മൈക്രോ ബയോളജി, ബയോ കെമിസ്ട്രി വിഭാഗം പ്രൊഫസറും വകുപ്പ് തലവനുമായ ഡോ. എസ്. ബിജോയ് നന്ദന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ നടത്തിയ പഠനത്തിലാണ് ഇവയെ കണ്ടത്തെത്തിയത് . |
