Abstract: | To prove the concept we set the objective to synthesise a series of molecules where the
substituents R 1 and R 2 should have structural features favourable for hydrogen bonding interaction with potential Michael acceptors. For example substituents such as amino groups as R 1 and R 2 can lead to the hydrogen bonded assembly showed in chart 3 with a Michael acceptor such a trans-nitrostyrene |
